Ceremonial cacao is a powerful heart opener and plant medicine that has been used since ancient times in ceremony to aid in traveling deeper within yourself to discover profound insight and awareness. Our circles are a great way to know yourself better, make new connections with like-minded individuals and receive the healing your soul is calling for. Yin yoga helps us also drop into the feminine and is a wonderful practice in conjunction with the medicine of cacao.

Corinne has over 400 hours of herbal medicine study over the last 8 years including a 2-year herbalism apprenticeship with The Gaia School of Healing and Earth Education in Vermont, and continued tutelage with Robin Rose Bennett, 7Song of the Northeast School of Botanical Medicine, and NY’s Open Center’s Green Medicine Herbalism Training with Peeka Trenkle.
Corinne has been teaching herbalism from an intuitive perspective since 2015 with workshops throughout the northeastern United States and in southern California as a way to build a relationship between humankind and the natural world through felt experience. She teaches Folk Herbal Medicine once a month at the San Diego Botanic Garden in Encinitas in addition to seeing clients one-on-one.
She will be guiding a herbal meditation and sound journey with Leah Lipson.
Be captivated by the natural world of medicinal plants through a sensory experience of tea, storytelling, and sound healing. We will explore one chosen herbal by imbibing it through a steeped tea infusion while storytelling and guided meditation paints a picture of the ways this plant supports our systems physically, mentally, emotionally, and metaphysically.
Herbal Meditation & Sound Journey
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Leah is passionate about facilitating healing and personal transformation through sound. She creates dynamic sound journeys that are designed to facilitate profound shifts in perception. Using multiple instruments and approaches, she guides people on inward journeys into the depths of the subconscious, ushering deeply held wisdom to the surface. She will be guiding the sound healing as Corinne guides the herbal meditation.
The vibrations of a variety of sound healing instruments played live aid in the direct and felt experience of this herbal medicine meditation. This experience transcends textbooks and cultivates a relationship with the wisdom of our intuition and natural surroundings, acting as a portal to understanding how plants can support us in all facets of our being and changing the way we look at what grows around us and our connection to it. Engage your senses and feel how the plants can best support you at this moment of your ever-unfolding life.
After consuming the herbal tea, attendees are encouraged to lie down for the duration of the experience and may want to bring a blanket or layers for comfort. Previous herbal medicine knowledge or experience is not necessary to attend.
You’ve never experienced the natural world of herbalism like this before.

Rachelle been working with and sharing kava since 2010 when she was first introduced to this plant medicine on the Big Island of Hawaii. She honors the ancient tradition of kava ceremony in the way she was shown by local Hawaiians. The euphoric yet grounding effect of kava sets the tone for intentional gatherings, creating a platform for deep heart connection. Rachelle has shared kava throughout the United States and in numerous other countries through the ceremony. “As the founder of Ohana Kava it is my goal that through providing access to a safe and holistic approach to improving mood, that we see less addiction of pharmaceutical drugs and ultimately happier and healthier humans.” Rachelle says. In addition to her work with the root medicine, kava, she also applies yoga, mediation, and breathwork to the experiences she brings as a means to live from a more conscious and connected place. Rachelle also received her 200hr Yoga and meditation training at Yoga Alliance certified Luminous Heart Institute in Costa Rica in 2019. As well as a certification in Buti, a more modern approach of combining yoga, tribal dance, and plyometrics. She also completed her Entheobreath certification in February of this year.
Entheobreath is a transformative healing technique that allows you to travel deep into the subconscious mind which contains all of the stored information of everything you have ever experienced. It holds the “programs” that control the way you think, what you believe, the way you feel, act, react, goals, dreams and whether we can achieve them or not. Entheobreath can support you to clear any limiting beliefs and trauma stored there. It also raises your vibration to a place where dis-ease is not in resonance. Offering a more empowered and free life experience. Moving forward with more authenticity and love!
